Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED with one year of electrical/electromechanical/instrumentation work experience, or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
• Preferred: trade school diploma in electrical/electromechanical/instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Inspect wiring and electrical equipment for safe condition and replacement needs using testing equipment.
• Maintain and replace motors and switchgear.
• Maintain electrical circuits for HVAC and plant equipment; install and service air compressors.
• Study blueprints, manuals, and files for reference; update maintenance records.
• Assist plant maintenance mechanics as needed.
• Maintain professional public relations and regular attendance; be prepared for emergencies.
