Job summary

Apple Inc. Sunnyvale seeks a Program Manager to own end-to-end launch readiness for new product introductions across Retail and Online channels worldwide.

You will coordinate global and regional teams to ensure dependencies are identified, tracked, and resolved ahead of launch. You will shape launch strategies, drive cross-functional alignment with SDM, BPR, Retail, Online, Logistics, and Ops Readiness, and lead post-launch reviews to identify root causes and opportunities for improvement.

  • Strong ability to structure ambiguous problems into actionable plans and manage multiple milestones.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end launch readiness for new product introductions across Retail and Online channels, coordinating WW and regional teams to ensure dependencies are identified, tracked, and resolved ahead of launch.
  • Shape launch quote, fulfillment, and conversion strategies, influencing decisions through data analysis and cross-functional collaboration; provide timely updates and elevate risks to executive teams.
  • Partner with SDM, BPR, Retail, Online, Logistics, Ops Readiness and RCC to define launch strategies and execution plans; ensure cross-functional alignment.
  • Build and maintain communications infrastructure that keeps partners globally aligned on launch status and changes.
  • Establish and improve management systems supporting fulfillment readiness from order to delivery.
  • Drive post-ops analysis for launches to identify root causes and improvements, and implement new processes through change management.
  • Identify opportunities to develop tools and automation to scale business processes over time.

The NPI Readiness team within WWRFO owns the launch readiness strategies and execution plans that ensure new products launch flawlessly across Retail and Online channels globally. They drive cross-functional readiness and alignment, and ensure every system and process is ready to support an exceptional customer experience from day one.The NPI Readiness Program Manager is a critical DRI in making that happen. You will shape strategies that influence how Apple brings new products to market, own fulfillment readiness across launch programs, and serve as a trusted cross-functional partner from the early stages of planning through post ops review. This is a role for someone who thrives in complexity, operates with a genuine commitment to excellence, and takes real pride in delivering when the stakes are highest.

  • Shape launch quote, fulfillment, and conversion strategies, influencing launch decisions through data analysis, collaboration, and a customer-focused approach. Provide timely updates and elevate critical risks to cross-functional and executive teams.
  • Partner with SDM, BPR, Retail, Online, Logistics, Ops Readiness and RCC to define launch strategies, build execution plans, and ensure cross-functional teams are prepared and aligned ahead of every launch.
  • Build and maintain the communications infrastructure that keeps partners globally aligned on launch status, changing plans, and critical decisions.
  • Establish and continuously improve the management systems and processes that support fulfillment readiness execution and accuracy from order placement through delivery.
  • Drive post ops analysis for each launch to identify root causes and opportunities for continuous process and system improvement. Implement new processes effectively through change management and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Identify opportunities to develop and implement tools and automation that improve the team’s capabilities and scale business processes over time.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree and 5+ years of experience in program management, operations, or supply chain, with demonstrated success leading complex global programs in New Product Introductions, Order Management, or Logistics.
  • Proven ability to drive complex, cross-functional programs in a global matrixed organization without direct authority, with a track record of building relationships, influencing stakeholders at all levels, and presenting effectively to executive teams.
  • Ability to structure ambiguous problems into actionable plans, track critical milestones across concurrent work streams, and maintain clarity and momentum under dynamic timelines.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to excellence. In an environment where launch precision directly impacts the customer experience, getting it right matters deeply.
  • High levels of discretion and sound judgment. This role operates with access to confidential information and requires a consistent track record of integrity.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent launch programs across different timelines and geographies, maintaining clarity on priorities and keeping partners aligned through rapidly changing conditions.
  • Highly effective under pressure, remaining calm, organized, and decisive during high-stakes launch windows with tight timelines and limited information.
  • Forward-thinking with the ability to make sound decisions with incomplete or fragmented information, comfortable moving fluidly between the macro strategic view and the micro operational detail.
  • Experience with system and tool launches, process design and implementation, or fulfillment systems setup.
  • A genuine passion for the customer experience, with the drive to ensure every decision made in the launch process connects back to delivering the best possible outcome for Apple's customers.
  • Experience spanning both worldwide strategy and regional execution, with the ability to operate fluidly between the two.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $149,100 and $224,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
