Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as data science, statistics, public health, economics, or information systems.
• At least 1 year of professional experience in data analysis or business intelligence.
• Understanding of rural healthcare delivery and West Virginia context.
• Proficiency in SQL and Excel; dashboard development in Power BI/Tableau.
• Experience with R, Python, SAS or similar tools.
• Ability to validate complex datasets, document methods, and meet reporting deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication for nontechnical audiences.
• Knowledge of data privacy and governance.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain data across multiple initiatives and integrate approved sources.
• Create repeatable workflows to extract, clean, transform, link, and validate datasets.
• Design, build, and maintain dashboards in Power BI or Tableau for KPIs and program outcomes.
• Lead data collection, validation, analysis, and preparation of federal and state reports.
• Coordinate reviews, approvals, and submissions per reporting specs and deadlines.
