Full-time - Full-year, 40 hours a week – above .75% FTE
Responsibilities: Performing basic weatherization tasks within the Panhandle area which can include insulation, pipe wrap, air sealing, weather-stripping, installation of new doors and/ windows, etc. Assisting with equipment maintenance and inventory control and other duties.
Qualifications : High school diploma or GED required. Previous construction experience preferred. Valid driver’s license required. Must pass criminal background checks.
Pay and Benefits: $15.84 per hour, depending upon qualification and experience. $200 one-time smart watch reimbursement. $200 annual work boot reimbursement. $1,500 recruitment sign-on bonus. Generous sick, contagious illness, bereavement and vacation pay. 16 paid holidays every year. The NCAP Weatherization Crew works 4 - 10 hour shifts Monday through Thursday and has Friday thru Sunday off each week. Benefit options include Health, Dental, Vision, Flexible Spending Account and Retirement options. A ll tools, supplies, licensing, certifications, equipment and vehicles are provided and covered by NCAP.
Position is 100% federally funded through the Department of Energy and Department of Health and Human Services. NCAP is “At Will”, subject to Veterans Preference and participates in E-Verify.
