Job summary

The Stubblefield Institute seeks a station manager for WSHC at Shepherd University in Shepherdstown to help run the station and meet broadcasting goals. You will coordinate with staff and broadcasters to monitor issues, assist every area, and fill station positions as needed.

You will also update the weekly liner sheet for Voice Tracked programming and report to the COO on student or staff issues, while representing students for all on-air content and maintaining a contact list of personnel.

• Enrolled at least part-time (6 credit hours)

• Document all station communication information with instructions for usage

Job Summary/Basic Function

The station manager is responsible for assisting in the running of the station and to make sure the station is meeting or exceeding it’s broadcasting goals. The station manager utilizes the skills of all WSHC staff and broadcasters to keep apprised of the station’s issues and needs. They also provide assistance to each area as needed and fills any station position as necessary. The station manager is also responsible for updating the weekly liner sheet for Voice Tracked programming.
