Qualifications summary

Candidates shouldhave strong academic writing skills, as well asundergraduate preparation in a writing-heavy fieldof study. Must have a positive and supportive attitude. Fluency in English is assumed;fluency in a second language is desirable.

Duties and responsibilities
  • Provide one-on-one tutoring support tograduate students working on various writing projects.
  • Participate in ongoing tutoring-training.
  • Participate in marketing efforts to attract graduate students for tutoring inthe Writing Center.
  • Prepare and lead occasional workshops on relevant writing topics for graduate students.
