Job summary

East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania's Writing Studio seeks a motivated Studio Tutor to assist ESU students in improving writing skills. Tutors provide one-to-one or small group feedback, mentor new tutors, and may visit classes to share writing strategies.

A set schedule is required each semester with participation in training and development activities. Applicants should have solid writing and communication skills, the ability to work well in a team, and a minimum 3.0 GPA.

Responsibilities

• Help ESU students learn new strategies for improving their writing.
• Work with students one-to-one, providing feedback and help for writing projects.
• Work set schedule throughout each semester and will participate in training and development activities to foster their own professional growth and help to mentor new tutors.
