• Bachelor’s degree in English, Rhetoric, Composition, or related field.
• A minimum of two years of experience working in a writing center.
• Knowledge of writing center theory and practice; knowledge of writing/pedagogy; ability to foster a positive, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual writing support to undergraduate and graduate students during consultations.
• Lead weekly training sessions for new undergraduate and graduate writing consultants.
• Develop and facilitate writing workshops, groups, and events for diverse student writers.
• Create web-based resources to help students improve their writing.
• Collaborate with Judith Anderson Herbert Writing Center staff and campus units to promote student writing success.
