Job summary

The University of Nebraska at Omaha invites applications for a position to conduct individual consultations with graduate and undergraduate students on writing projects, including papers, theses, dissertations, and articles. Sessions may be face-to-face or online.

The role supports diverse multilingual writers and may include workshops. Work Schedule varies, typically around 10 hours per week, with some evenings.

Qualifications

• Master of Arts or Science in any academic field.
• Demonstrated excellence in teaching academic writing in a writing center or classroom setting.
• Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Submit a cover letter and a résumé that includes contact information for at least two references who can speak to your teaching ability/potential.
