Job description

Massive is a fast-growing AI infrastructure company. We have strong product-market fit, hundreds of paying customers, and a team full of people who know things our industry would want to hear.

Almost none of them post.

This role is about fixing that. You won’t be writing company content. You’ll work with individuals on our team, in sales, engineering, compliance, support and events, to help them build a presence that’s actually theirs. Our Head of Engineering has a different audience than our Head of Compliance, and the content has to reflect that. Nobody wants to read a company newsletter wearing someone’s face.

Some people will want you to coach them. Others will want you to ghostwrite and let them edit. You’ll do both, and you’ll figure out which is which.

This is a people job as much as a writing job. You’ll spend real time interviewing colleagues, finding out what they actually think, and turning that into posts that sound like them rather than like you.

Responsibilities
  • Work with 5 to 8 people across the company on their personal content, from first conversation to published post.
  • Interview colleagues regularly to surface opinions, stories and expertise worth publishing. Most people don’t know what’s interesting about their own work.
  • Ghostwrite, edit or coach depending on what each person needs and wants.
  • Learn each person’s voice well enough that their audience can’t tell the difference.
  • Help each person define who they’re writing for. A compliance lead and a sales lead are not addressing the same room.
  • Track what works for each person individually and feed that back to them.
  • Monitor what’s happening in AI, web data, developer tools and infrastructure, and bring people timely angles they’re positioned to speak on.
  • Protect people from publishing things that are boring, wrong or off-brand for them.
Requirements
  • 2 to 4 years writing professionally. Ghostwriting, journalism, editorial or content marketing all count.
  • You can write in a voice that isn’t yours. We’ll ask for samples and we’ll ask which parts were someone else’s words.
  • You like people. This role runs on getting colleagues to tell you what they really think, which takes more patience than writing does.
  • You read LinkedIn and X closely enough to know what’s working this month, not what worked two years ago.
  • Comfortable using AI tools for research and drafting, and able to tell when the output sounds like a machine.
  • Genuinely interested in AI, developer tools or web infrastructure. You don’t need to be an expert, but you need to find it interesting enough to ask good questions.
  • Organized and self-directed across several people’s schedules without being chased.
  • Comfortable working async in a remote team across time zones.
Fully Remote
  • You work best when you work where you want. We support a fully remote team so you can live and work where is best for you.
Work from Home Stipend
  • Being a fully remote team, we want to ensure your home office is comfortable. We provide a $500 WFH stipend to get your space upgraded!
Unlimited Vacation
  • Take the time you need: relax, rest and recover! We want our team working at their best so take the days you need.
Health Insurance
  • Our team is our most valuable resource so we do our part in helping cover health insurance for all team members. We offer different benefits based on if you are located in the USA or International.
  • We care about your well-being. Every team member receives $50 per month toward health and wellness, whether it's for fitness, mindfulness, or self-care.
  • We believe in always growing. That's why we provide $50 per month toward education: online courses, books, or workshops to keep your skills sharp.
Access to Cutting-Edge Tools
  • As part of our mission, you'll have access to the latest AI and technology tools, helping you stay ahead and do your best work.
  • We work across time zones, so we write things down: clear docs, thoughtful threads and fewer meetings.
