About this Position

Station8 is seeking a Freelance Writer with a potential for full-time hire. Key Responsibilities

• Local to the Tulsa area is ideal but not required
• Available for in-person meetings when requested (up to twice per week, only applicable to Tulsa local applicants)
• Availability for communication via phone, email, chat, and virtual meetings during business hours (Monday through Friday, 8:30a - 5p CT)
• Regular creation of content across various digital platforms using diverse writing styles and tools
• Ability to revise and update existing content based on evolving project needs
• Meet predetermined deadlines consistently

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience with creative writing, content creation and editing

• A portfolio of professional writing examples

Ideal Candidate Experience

• Experience working with pre-existing content
• Familiarity with SEO and digital marketing strategies
• Understanding of CMS platforms like Sanity and WordPress a plus for website content creation
• Experience in writing for various online formats and platforms a plus
• Understanding of what UX writing is and its effectiveness
• Experience with social media content creation and management
• Capability to lead content strategy sessions or workshops
• Comfortable presenting in front of clients and fellow team members
