Job summary

Brown University Athletics and Recreation seeks an Assistant Coach, Wrestling to support the Head Coach in developing student athletes at the NCAA DI level. The role emphasizes teaching athletic skills, fostering character, and game strategy while handling daily operations such as recruitment coordination, travel planning, and scheduling.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree with 1–2 years of coaching or competitive playing experience, or five years of related coaching/playing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 1–2 years of relevant coaching and/or competitive playing experience.
• In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, a minimum of 5 years of directly related coaching and/or competitive playing experience is required.
• Demonstrated experience in intercollegiate athletics, professional athletics, elite amateur sport, or a comparable competitive environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the Head Coach in leadership and development of student athletes.
• Coordinate recruitment processes and travel arrangements.
• Assist with scheduling and daily program operations.
