Qualifikationen

• Associate degree in engineering or manufacturing technology or equivalent.
• Hands-on mechanical aptitude and interest in manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions, manuals, drawings and specs.
• Basic computer skills including Excel and Word.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to learn and take on greater technical responsibility.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (10%).

Aufgaben

• Support daily setup, operation, and troubleshooting of wrapping machines and related equipment.
• Learn equipment, materials, product constructions, setup methods, and common issues.
• Assist with process adjustments, setup consistency, quality concerns, scrap reduction.
• Collect and organize machine settings, speed, downtime, scrap, and quality data.
• Document problems, support root cause investigations, and verify corrective actions.
• Assist with trials, new product runs, tooling changes, and process qualifications.
• Create/setup sheets, work instructions, troubleshooting guides, visual standards.
• Train operators on setup methods, standards, and basic troubleshooting.
• Support 5S, tooling control, and safe practices in wrapping area.
