Job summary

Brook + Whittle is seeking a Shrink-Wrap Technician in a full-time role. The technician will operate an automated shrink-wrap machine to package finished products, consult with shipping on items to wrap, and perform minor machine adjustments to handle different products.

• Essential manual dexterity and ability to operate machinery.

Responsibilities

• Operates shrink-wrap machine to package products.
• Consults with shipping supervisors to determine products to be shrink-wrapped during shift.
• Performs minor adjustments on machine to accommodate different products to be wrapped.
• Sorts and counts unwrapped products and ensures they are wrapped correctly.
• Inspects and removes defective or damaged products.
• Transports wrapped products to shipping area.
• Performs basic maintenance on the shrink-wrap machine.
• Notifies supervisor when supplies need to be reordered.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
