Job summary

Center for Human Development, Inc. in La Grande, Oregon is seeking a full-time Family Peer Support Specialist and Case Manager with shared lived experience to support families raising a child with emotional or behavioral challenges.

You will help families engage as active participants on their treatment team, navigate services, and strengthen parent/caregiver voice and involvement. A Bachelor’s in behavioral sciences or equivalent experience is required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Bachelor's in behavioral sciences or 3+ years related experience with QMHA approval.
• One year of lived mental health experience and navigation knowledge.
• Willingness to schedule evenings and weekends; pass criminal history checks.
• Drivers license and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Promote engagement with parents to support strength-based problem solving.
• Attend child and family team meetings to ensure voice and choice.
• Identify local resources and assist families with access to services.
• Build constructive relationships as a collaborative team member.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and punctual attendance.
