Position Summary: Makes and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, serves food, participates in keeping area clean and collects money for served items.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Wisp Resort is a four-season ski, golf and recreational destination resort. Because of the nature of the resort business, employees may be asked to perform other duties outside of the job description. Also, hours of operation are 24/7 including weekends and holidays.Specific Duties & Responsibilities: Level 1 – FB01Make and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and/or serve food items.Exhibits ability to attract guests towards drinks and ensure that they order more, in doing so monitors guest behavior to ensure they do not drink too much and if so addresses in a professional manner with the guest.Carries drinks to guests, takes down orders, explains the drinks menu, makes suggestions like which wine compliments a certain dish, and answers any queries, thus creating awareness amongst the guests as to the drinks they are being served.Develops and utilizes thorough knowledge about food and drinks and how they can be matched.Exhibits ability to be a good drinks mixer, preparing drinks according to the taste and preference of guests quickly and efficiently.Collecting money for payment from guests and ensuring cash register is balanced start and close of shift.Specific Duties & Responsibilities: Level 2 – FB02All duties of a Level 1 Bartender Restaurant/Banquet.Fully capable of setting up and bartending for banquet functions.Handles Beverage Cart service on the Golf Course.Specific Duties & Responsibilities: Level 3 – FB03All duties of a Level 1 and 2 Bartender Restaurant/Banquet.2-4 years’ experience, increased accountability (team/crew), possesses required knowledge.Specific Duties & Responsibilities: Level 4 – FB04All duties of a Level 1, 2 and 3 Bartender Restaurant/Banquet.4-6 years’ experience, works well independently, fully implements required knowledge/skills.Qualifications:Successful execution of this job requires an individual to satisfactorily perform each essential duty.
