Job summary

Interim HealthCare Inc. is seeking a Weekend-Only PCA/Caregiver to cover Friday through Sunday, totaling 30 hours weekly across the Tri-County area in South Carolina.

You’ll provide in-home personal care, support daily living activities, and help with mobility, medication reminders and safety, while enjoying paid weekly wages and training opportunities. We offer 1:1 client ratios, flexible scheduling, online training, CEU options, and Insperity perks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or equivalent) required.
• Six (6) months of healthcare experience preferred.
• CPR certification required.
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and reliable transportation.
• Compassionate and helping nature, good communicator and ability to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support to seniors to live safely at home.
• Assist with activities of daily living: bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal prep, shopping, transportation and companionship.
• Assist with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises.
• Provide medication reminders and document client condition; notify supervisor of concerns.
• Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways.
• Engage clients in activities that bring joy (puzzles, games, reading, hobbies).

• High school diploma (or equivalent)
• Six (6) months of experience in a healthcare role, preferred.
