AdventHealth is seeking a part-time RN to provide wound, ostomy, and continence care in Hendersonville, NC. You will assess patients, develop care plans, administer treatments, and educate patients and families to improve outcomes.

The role requires RN licensure and an Associate’s degree in nursing, with a preference for a Bachelor’s. Strong documentation, communication, and teamwork are essential in this hospital setting.

• Knowledge of wounds, ostomies, and continence care applicable in an acute hospital setting.
• Ability to educate patients and families about wound and ostomy care.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to manage a full patient caseload with organization and prioritization.
• Proficiency with documentation and medical records systems.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments across wound, ostomy, and continence care.
• Develop and document individualized care plans and adjust as needed.
• Administer treatments and medications safely and monitor responses.
• Provide direct wound and ostomy care and educate patients and families.
• Educate healthcare staff and collaborate with physicians and nurses.
• Monitor progress and ensure continuity of care during weekends/holidays.
• Maintain infection-control practices and safe medication handling.
• Support ongoing professional development and evidence-based practices.
