Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking a compassionate RN with wound, ostomy, and continence care expertise to join our patient-focused team. You will assess, plan, and deliver direct care, coordinating with physicians and staff to ensure optimal outcomes.

The role emphasizes education for patients and families, as well as ongoing staff training on best practices in wound and ostomy management. The position supports part-time schedules, with day shifts in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• RN with current licensure in the state of practice
• Experience in wound, ostomy and continence care preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to manage a full patient caseload and maintain accurate documentation
• Knowledge of infection-control policies and procedures

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments across wound, ostomy, continence care.
• Develop individualized care plans and document them accurately.
• Administer treatments and monitor responses, adjusting plans as needed.
• Provide direct wound and ostomy care and patient education.
• Educate patients and families on wound care and self-care techniques.
• Lead educational sessions for healthcare staff on wound, ostomy, and continence care.
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams to coordinate comprehensive care.
