Job summary

The role includes delivering patient- and family-centered care, educating on illness management and medication administration, and promoting safety and quality while collaborating with the healthcare team. Some weekend/holiday rotation work is involved.

Qualifications

• Educational background: Nursing Diploma or Associate’s degree; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Licensing: Valid RN license.
• Experience: No prior experience required; less than 2 years preferred.
• Skills: Strong assessment, critical thinking, patient education, and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient- and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
• Promote patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while participating in professional development.
• Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, ensuring effective communication across the continuum of care.
• Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs using critical nursing skills, respecting patient values, cultural, spiritual, and population-specific considerations.
• Adhere to safety protocols, maintaining alertness and safe work practices at all times.
