Job summary

Mental Health Association of Rochester is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in wound care to provide direct patient care and contribute to care planning in a Missouri facility.

You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, educate patients and families, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and collaborate with the healthcare team to meet physical, psychosocial, and spiritual needs. Safety-sensitive role with strong teamwork and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Nursing diploma or associate degree; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• RN license required.
• No prior experience required; less than 2 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Educate patients and families on managing illnesses, medications, and post-treatment care.
• Promote patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Develop and document individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team and patients.
• Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, including cultural and spiritual considerations.
• Participate in professional development and ensure communication of care plans across the continuum.
