Qualifications

• RN license in state of practice.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Provider within 30 days of hire.
• Preferred - Wound Treatment Associate (WTA) certification.
• CWOCN/WOCNCB wound care certification within 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care for skin/wound conditions including assessment, planning, and evaluation.
• Educates patients on wound prevention and ostomy care.
• Collaborates with interprofessional team to develop care plans.
• Delegates wound/ostomy care to staff per nursing scope of practice.
• Leads interprofessional teams to ensure safe, patient-centered care.
