Job summary

Wellstar in Roswell, GA is seeking a Specialist Wound, Ostomy, and Continence RN to deliver expert care in the outpatient hyperbaric unit. You will perform wound/ostomy assessments, care planning and education, and provide HBO-related nursing responsibilities in a supervised setting.

The role requires RN licensure, BLS, and 3+ years of acute-care experience; BSN preferred, with national specialty certification and PALS preferred (PALS provisional within 180 days).

Qualifications

• Nursing associate degree or diploma; BSN preferred.
• RN license valid in single state or compact; BLS required.
• National specialty certification and PALS preferred; provisional PALS within 180 days.
• At least three years of acute-care staff nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist wound, ostomy and continence nursing assessment, care planning and education.
• Deliver pre/during/post-HBO care in outpatient hyperbaric unit; monitor treatment gas and patient responses; document chamber settings and treatment; intervene in adverse reactions under programme direction.
