Job summary

Duke University Hospital in Durham, NC seeks a Wound Ostomy Registered Nurse to provide specialized care across the organization. You will assess, treat, and educate patients with wounds, ostomies, or continence needs, while promoting evidence-based practice.

Requires a BSN, at least 2 years of RN experience, NC licensure, BLS, and CWOCN/CWON certification within three months of hire. You will work with an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes and advance clinical practice.

Qualifications

• BSN required from an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum 2 years of RN clinical experience.
• Current NC RN licensure; BLS required; CWOCN/CWON cert within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced wound, ostomy, and continence care per orders and policies.
• Deliver preoperative counseling and postoperative education to patients and families.
