Job summary

Duke Raleigh Campus Hematology/Oncology Clinic is seeking an experienced Part-Time Registered Nurse for Outpatient Wound & Ostomy Care in Raleigh, NC. The role focuses on specialized wound and ostomy management in an oncology setting.

The ideal candidate holds a BSN or higher and CWOCN/CWON certification, with wound ostomy nursing experience and oncology exposure. A structured shift from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Mon–Fri is available with flexibility per department needs.

Qualifications

• Wound and Ostomy experience required (CWOCN or CWON).
• Oncology experience is highly desirable for this position.
• BSN or higher is required; RN with diploma/associates must pursue BSN per Duke Health policy.

Responsibilities

• Plan, provide, supervise and document professional nursing care per physician orders and policies.
• Assess patient needs and adapt plans of care accordingly.
• Delegate tasks and supervise other licensed and unlicensed staff.
• Act as team leader or charge nurse for a group of patients or unit as assigned.
• Maintain environment of care and monitor equipment and supplies.
• Support professional development and precept new staff.
