Job summary

Metrowest Medical Center - Consolidated in Framingham, MA seeks an experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist for Ostomy, Wound, and Skin Care. The role collaborates with the healthcare team to assess and develop treatment plans, educate staff, and implement evidence-based practices to prevent pressure injuries and support ostomy patients.

You will respond to consults, manage complex wounds and skin conditions, provide direct care, and serve as a clinical resource for nurses and staff.

Qualifications

• Requires MA RN licensure with board certification within 1 year of graduation from wound/ostomy programs.
• Minimum 5 years of clinical nursing experience; specialty experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and develop treatment plans for pressure injuries and ostomy patients; educate staff on best practices.
• Provide specialized ostomy care before/after surgery; educate patients and families; assist in discharge planning.
