Job summary

National Wound Physician Group in Des Moines, IA seeks a part-time Urgent Care Physician to provide bedside wound care and wound management across multiple facilities. The role emphasizes autonomy, flexible scheduling, and a patient-centered approach with no nights or on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice.
• Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.

Responsibilities

• Deliver bedside wound care in post-acute settings: Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals.
• Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.
• Visit facilities within a 40-60 mile radius, treating 20-30 patients per day.
• Document care in real-time using the proprietary wound-specific EMR.
• Participate in paid onboarding training + 6 months wound care fellowship.
