Job summary

The Arboretum of Winnie is seeking a Treatment Nurse (LVN or RN) to provide high-quality wound care and treatment services within a collaborative care team in Odessa, TX. You will deliver wound care and monitor healing progress while coordinating with physicians and families.

Qualifications

• Active LVN or RN license in good standing.
• Experience in wound care preferred.
• Strong assessment, documentation and communication skills.
• Works independently and within a team-centered environment.
• Compassionate, resident-centered approach to nursing.

Responsibilities

• Perform dressing changes, wound assessments, and specialized skin treatments.
• Monitor and document healing progress of wounds, incisions, and skin concerns.
• Communicate effectively with physicians and families regarding care plans.
• Evaluate residents’ nutritional and hydration needs related to wound healing.
• Review lab results and respond to signs of infection.
• Educate staff on wound prevention and treatment protocols.
• Assist with floor staffing as needed to ensure continuity of care.
