Job summary

Warren Barr Lincoln Park in Chicago, IL is seeking a dedicated Wound Care Technician to support the wound care team and assist the Treatment Nurse in delivering high-quality care to residents.

As a CNA with CPR certification, you will help with lifting and repositioning, observe residents for changes, and ensure safety. Training and ongoing growth are available in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Unencumbered Illinois CNA certificate and CPR certification required.
• One year of CNA and/or wound care experience preferred but training may be provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist with wound care services under supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Support lifting, turning and repositioning of residents during wound care.
• Observe changes in residents' condition and ensure a safe environment.
• Maintain education and contribute to resident care planning.
