Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking a full-time RN wound nurse to join our Sullivan, Missouri team. You will assess, plan, and treat skin conditions and wounds under physician direction, while upholding Life Care standards and all applicable laws.

Work with the nursing team to educate CNAs, monitor healing, adjust treatment plans, document care, and ensure patient safety and confidentiality in a post-acute care setting.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• Currently licensed/registered in applicable State and active RN license.
• Prior wound care experience preferred.
• One year geriatric nursing experience preferred.
• CPR certification upon hire or during orientation and maintained during employment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality nursing care to patients with wounds.
• Identify, manage, and treat skin disorders and lesions.
• Educate CNAs on positioning, training, and skin care.
• Evaluate patient needs and revise treatment plans with physician/IDT.
• Maintain patient rights, safety, and sanitation.
• Uphold confidentiality and Life Care policies.
