Job summary

Trinity Health FirstChoice is seeking an experienced RN to fill flexible, premium-pay travel assignments across Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Spring, MD. The role involves floating to various hospital locations and regions, using standard nursing processes and maintaining accountability for outcomes.

Requirements include an accredited nursing degree, RN license in applicable states, and 18 months minimum in Med/Surg, Tele, or PCU, with 2+ years in other specialties.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• WOCN certification required.
• Valid RN licensure in applicable state(s).
• Minimum 18 months of recent clinical experience for Med Surg, Tele and PCU.
• Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience for all remaining specialties including Critical Care, Surgical Services, Maternal Services, Emergency Department and Behavioral Health.
• Credentials per specialty area (e.g., ACLS, TNCC, etc.). BLS, ACLS and PALS must be obtained through American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Float throughout the hospital and/or multiple locations/regions as needed.
• Demonstrate professional nursing process: Assess, identify outcomes, plan, implement, evaluate.
• Act independently within license and scope of practice.
• Maintain accountability for delegation and outcomes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to support quality and improvement.
