• Graduate of accredited college program in Physical Therapy; B.A./B.S. in Physical Therapy or Nursing.
• New York State license or eligibility for Physical Therapy or Registered Nurse license.
• Successful completion of orientation program as required by department.
• Ability to interact with others constructively and promote quality in-services to staff.

Responsibilities

• Performs wound care for in- and outpatients within PT or nursing scope.
• Collaborates with Wound Care Center staff to promote interdisciplinary care.
• Maintains patient records and assigns billing codes for services.
• Schedules patient sessions and coordinates transfer of duties during absences.
• Instructs patients in use and care of PT-related equipment.
