Job summary

MedCentris Specialty Group in Vicksburg, MS is seeking a Field Technician/Medical Assistant to support wound care and daily clinical operations. Responsibilities include wound care tasks, charting, and coordinating patient flow under supervision.

The role requires a High School diploma, CPR/BLS, and vaccination, with opportunity to work across nearby clinics within a 60-mile radius. This is a full-time, day-shift position with a focus on patient safety and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• TB and Flu vaccination required.

Responsibilities

• Dressing removal, wound cleansing, photos, measurements & vital signs; set up and clean up patient treatment areas; instrument cleaning, set up for special procedures & sterilization of instruments.
• Dressing application under direction of licensed personnel.
• Inventory control and ordering as directed by Clinical Coordinator or Program Director.
• Charting and timely documentation in the EHR; complete charting at facility or after care.
• Assist with equipment setup and safe transport of patients by wheelchair or stretcher.
• Ability to work collaboratively under supervision of a licensed nurse and to interact with providers and staff while maintaining confidentiality.
