Job summary

St. Francis Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct care in an outpatient wound care clinic and to evaluate inpatient wounds in Los Angeles. You will collaborate with physicians, the charge nurse, and other staff to adjust treatments as needed.

The role requires active CA RN licensure, BCLS, and preferably wound care experience and WOC certification within the first year. Per diem status, day shift, with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Current and valid CA RN license.
• BCLS (AHA) required upon hire.
• Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
• Wound care knowledge/experience preferred (1 year).
• Wound, Ostomy, Continence (WOC) Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care in outpatient wound care clinic and evaluate inpatient wounds.
• Communicate with physicians, charge nurse and coworkers regarding treatments.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or response to treatment.
