Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing; Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Must be enrolled in an accredited BSN program within two (2) years and obtain a BSN Degree within five (5) years of job entry date.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient interviews and explain policies and procedures.
• Assess gastrointestinal, cardiovascular, respiratory, renal, and neurological health status.
• Determine mobility, sensory deficits, prostheses use, and skin condition.
• Assess pain levels and manage pain effectively.
• Develop individualized patient goals and outcome statements.
• Coordinate the cost-effective use of supplies, equipment, and medication.
• Maintain constant vigilance over patient care and safety precautions.
• Administer prescribed treatments and use necessary equipment safely.
• Provide emotional support to patients and their significant others.
• Educate patients and families about drug interactions and health conditions.
