Job summary

Glen Cove Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation has a full-time opportunity for an experienced Wound Care RN. The role requires an organized, detail-oriented professional to supervise wound care and ensure accurate documentation for physicians, residents and families.

The ideal candidate is licensed RN in New York with 3–5 years’ wound care experience, familiarity with EMR Sigma Care, and a dependable, self-motivated team player who can participate in performance improvement while delivering

Qualifications

• New York RN license with 3–5 years' experience.
• Wound certification preferred but not required.
• Minimum 1 year wound care in SNF.
• Familiar with EMR Sigma Care.

Responsibilities

• Manage preventative wound programs and wound treatment programs.
• Ensure accuracy in documentation for physicians, residents and families.
• Complete the weekly wound analysis report.
• Educate patients, families and staff on wound management and prevention.
• Serve as a resource for physicians wound team and clinical staff.
• Conduct wound rounds weekly and report to the Director of Nursing.
