Job summary

Tenet-AZ Region in Goodyear, AZ seeks a Registered Nurse specializing in wound care to provide professional bedside nursing on an ongoing staff basis, coordinating care with multidisciplinary teams.

You will assess patients' needs, plan and implement care, and supervise other staff as assigned, while maintaining safety and high-quality patient outcomes.

This role requires an AZ RN license, CPR, ACLS/PALS as applicable, and flexibility to work in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Qualifications

• RN license in AZ required.
• CPR certification required; ACLS and ENPC/PALS as applicable.
• L&D experience and training preferred.
• Wound care certification or training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care within an assigned unit.
• Coordinates care planning with other disciplines.
• Direct bedside nursing care using the nursing process for patient needs.
• Acts as supervisor by directing other healthcare staff for patient care.
• Evaluates quality and effectiveness of nursing practice to meet patient goals.
• Participates in hourly rounding.
• Observes safety guidelines and safe work practices.
• Assesses patient’s needs on admission and ongoing basis.
• Implements nursing and medical orders appropriate to patient status.
