Job summary

BJC HealthCare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Wound Care for a staffing role in Saint Louis, Missouri. The RN will provide direct patient care, focusing on wound management and collaboration with the care team.

The position requires a Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree, RN licensure, and the ability to work a shift pattern including evenings with weekend rotations. Sign-on bonus up to $7,500 may be available.

Qualifications

• Wound care specialty experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Educate patients and families on disease management and home care.
• Promote patient safety and quality of care; participate in ongoing professional development.
• Develop and document individualized plans of care with interprofessional team.
• Communicate care plans across the continuum of care.
