Riverside Smithfield Hospital in Smithfield, VA is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Labor Pool for Wound Care. The RN will assess and manage patients with wounds, ostomies, and skin issues, provide education, and ensure quality care under Nurse Manager supervision.

Responsibilities include coordinating outpatient ostomy care, following RHS policies, documenting in EMR, and serving as a resource to staff and patients.

Qualificações

• RN license in Virginia or compact state (Required)
• Two years wound care experience preferred
• CPR/BLS certification required

Responsabilidades

• Assess, plan, diagnose, implement and evaluate care for patients with wounds, ostomy, and skin issues
• Coordinate ostomy and wound care services and education
• Attend seminars and in-service programs for professional growth
• Act as preceptor to nursing students and participate in Skin Integrity Team activities
• Document care and orders in electronic medical record and ensure patient safety
