Job summary

Haywood Regional Medical Center seeks a Manager (RN) for Wound Care to lead the wound care department and ensure high-quality patient care. The RN will manage daily operations, staff scheduling, and regulatory compliance while coordinating with physicians and other teams.

The role requires NC RN licensure, leadership skills, and prior wound care or management experience; limited travel may be needed as part of program oversight.

Qualifications

• Active North Carolina or compact RN license is required.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred; related experience may be considered.
• One year of wound care or management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the wound care department to meet organizational goals.
• Lead staff, scheduling, performance, payroll, and development.
• Monitor budgets, contracts, vendor relations, and supply usage.
• Coordinate patient care with physicians, staff, and departments; provide direct care when needed.
