Job summary

ScionHealth seeks a Registered Nurse for Kindred Hospital Rancho, a 55-bed long-term acute care facility. The RN provides direct and indirect patient care, collaborates with physicians and the interdisciplinary team, and participates in discharge planning.

The role requires applying the nursing process, documenting in the medical record, administering medications, and educating patients and families. Must hold an RN license and BLS; ACLS is preferred.

Qualifications

• Postsecondary certificate, diploma, or program graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• RN license in state or compact state (Required upon hire).
• Basic Life Support (BCLS) required; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process.
• Develop and update patient care plans with the care team.
• Assess and reassess pain; educate patient and family on pain management.
• Communicate changes in patient condition to physicians and staff; participate in discharge planning.
