Job summary

ScionHealth is seeking an RN for Kindred Hospital Rancho in Rancho Cucamonga, a 55-bed long-term acute care facility. The nurse provides direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process, collaborating with physicians, nurses, and staff to plan for discharge and ongoing care.

The role requires active RN licensure, BLS, ACLS (preferred), and 6 months of Medical/Surgical experience. Competitive range with comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and PTO.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of medications and their correct administration based on patient age and condition.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Ability to organize tasks, develop action plans, set priorities and work under stress.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care planning and delivery through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Communicate patient status changes to physicians and team.
• Assist with discharge planning and end-of-shift reporting.
• Manage patient care within scope of practice and ensure safe medication administration.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to meet patient needs.
