Job summary

Kindred Hospital Chicago - Northlake is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process. You will develop care plans, collaborate with physicians, and participate in discharge planning to support patient wellness.

This role is based in the Northlake community, with a focus on long-term recovery. The ideal candidate will have an accredited nursing program credential, active state RN licensure, and strong communication skills in

Qualifications

• Postsecondary nursing education from an accredited program.
• RN licensure in the state of practice (required).
• Fluent English communication.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise nursing care per hospital policy and nursing standards.
• Document patient data, care plans and progress accurately in medical records.
• Assess and reassess patient condition and pain; adjust care plans as needed.
• Coordinate with physicians and interdisciplinary staff for holistic patient care.
• Participate in discharge planning and patient/family education.
• Provide end of shift reports and ensure safety and accountability.
