Mission Hospital in Asheville, North Carolina seeks a Registered Nurse Wound Care to join our dedicated team. You will lead the delivery of professional nursing care, apply the nursing process, and support the comfort and well-being of patients and families.

The position requires RN licensure, BLS within 30 days of start, CWOCN/CWON/WCC or related degree within 2 years, and about 5 years of experience in wound care.

Qualifications

• RN licensure is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• CWOCN/CWON/WCC certification or related degree must be obtained within 2 years of start date.
• Approximately 5 years of wound care experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to deliver professional nursing care for patients.
• Utilize the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Delegate, supervise and document care and teaching for patients and families.
• Implement medically prescribed interventions.
