Job summary

Mission Hospital in Asheville, North Carolina seeks a Registered Nurse Wound Care to join a dedicated team. Lead wound care delivery, assess and plan patient care, and document interventions with a focus on patient comfort and outcomes.

Requirements include RN licensure, Basic Life Support within 30 days, and CWOCN/CWON/WCC certification or related degree to be completed within 2 years. A minimum of 5 years of nursing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of employment start date.
• RN licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• CWOCN/CWON/WCC certification or related degree must be obtained within 2 years.
• 5 years experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in delivering professional nursing care for patient comfort and well-being.
• Utilize nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care and teaching.
• Delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching for patients and families.
• Implement medically prescribed interventions.
