Job summary

OhioHealth Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a Wound Care Nurse (RN) to lead the wound care program at the Dublin, OH site, developing protocols and advancing patient outcomes. The role collaborates with wound care experts to ensure evidence-based practices and staff competency.

Qualifications

• Valid State RN License required.
• Previous hospital nursing experience required.
• Certified BLS required.
• Excellent presentation and organizational skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assumes a leadership role in the wound care program across hospitals and programs.
• Develops and deploys evidence-based wound care protocols and formulates product formulary updates.
• Establishes clinician competencies in wound care.
• Collaborates with Medical leadership on wound care initiatives and outcome measures.
• Creates educational modules for wound care for staff, patients and families.
• Analyzes wound patterns to drive PI activities and improve outcomes.
• Coordinates staff education, competency evaluation and testing with Education department.
• Supports coordination of all wound care education initiatives and activities.
