Job summary

Avardis Health is seeking a qualified Wound Care Nurse (RN or LPN) to join our team at Middleton Oaks Health and Rehabilitation in Winona, MS. The role is full time, 7am–3pm, with on-call responsibilities.

You will manage wound care, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with physicians to ensure optimal resident healing and comfort. The ideal candidate has active RN/LPN licensure in Mississippi, a current Wound Care Certification, CPR certification, and 1–2 years of wound care experience.

Qualifications

• RN or LPN with active licensure in the state of employment.
• Current Wound Care Certification and CPR certification.
• Minimum 1 year wound care experience (2 years preferred).
• Compassionate, detail-oriented with strong communication.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards in wound care.

Responsibilities

• Liaison between physician and nursing staff for wound care coordination.
• Participate in wound care program development and objectives.
• Educate staff on wound care practices and policies.
• Assist in policy and procedure implementation for wound care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to support wound healing.
• Direct resident care: assess, treat, and monitor wounds as ordered by physician.
• Develop individualized treatment plans for residents.
• Maintain ongoing communication with physicians on resident care updates.
• Support regulatory compliance during surveys and inspections.
• Identify opportunities to improve wound care processes and outcomes.
