Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital in Youngstown, OH is seeking a dedicated Wound Care Nurse (RN) to join our inpatient post-ICU team. You will lead skin preservation efforts, coordinate wound care rounds, and deliver hands-on care for complex wounds in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires an ADN, RN license, and BLS certification with at least 1 year of related experience. A robust benefits package, RN orientation, and opportunities for growth are provided.

Qualifications

• AD (Associate's degree in Nursing) required.
• One (1) year of related experience required.
• Valid State RN License.
• Possess a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date.
• Must complete wound care training in the first 90 days in the role.

Responsibilities

• Preserve skin integrity and monitor wound care protocols.
• Organize multidisciplinary wound and skin rounds for high risk patients.
• Provide hands-on wound care for difficult and non-healing wounds.
• Serve as a wound care resource for hospital staff.
• Ensure regulatory requirements are met.
