Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital Richmond is hiring a Wound Care Nurse (RN) to join our team in Richmond. The role focuses on preserving skin integrity, coordinating wound and skin care rounds, and delivering hands-on wound care for complex cases.

A valid RN license, BLS, and 1 year of related experience are required, with wound care training to be completed within 90 days of start. We offer an orientation program, tuition reimbursement, continuing education, and a comprehensive benefits package

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 1 year of related nursing experience.
• BLS certification required by start date.
• Must complete wound care training within 90 days of start.

Responsibilities

• Preserve skin integrity and monitor wound care protocols.
• Organize weekly multidisciplinary wound and skin rounds for high-risk patients.
• Provide hands-on wound care for difficult or non-healing wounds.
• Serve as a resource on wound and skin care for hospital staff.
• Ensure regulatory requirements are met.
