Job summary

IHA in Fresno, CA seeks a part-time Registered Nurse for Wound & Hyperbaric Medicine. You will collaborate with physicians and the health care team, providing specialised care for patients with wounds and ostomies, with a high degree of autonomy as a case manager.

The role requires CA RN licensure, 3 years of clinical experience, and current AHA CPR certification. Enterostomal experience and related certifications are preferred; day shift, on-site position.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in California is required.
• Three years of clinical experience is required.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR card is required.
• WON certification is preferred.
• CWON certification is preferred.
• Enterostomal experience is preferred.
• Organizational skills and an ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide wound and ostomy care as a case manager for chronic wound patients.
• Collaborate with physicians and the health care team to plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Deliver care within the State Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies with autonomy.
